The Best of Photoswap!

I’m not going to upload all the spoils of Boob Quest, but I’ll put up a couple of my favorites. Mostly to illustrate that, with originality and EFFORT, if you’re not being creepy, annoying, or selfish, that you can in fact find women willing to reveal some skin. I’ll try to keep them as clean as I can. I’ll also do my best to pick the most anonymous ones I can, but if you see someone you know, or yourself, please let us know if you’d like them removed and we happily and quickly will.

With the exception of the “all things crossed off, including difficult to get things like “active lava flow”, but “boobs” somehow isn’t crossed off” scavenger hunt, scavenger hunts can be a lot of fun. Other than the “shameless attempt to see boobs”, I haven’t done a scavenger hunt yet myself, but I DID help someone cross a few things:

I know it’s hard to read, but there are 17 things marked done, and 18 stillleft to do. Here we did 4 in one shot: someone dancing, a complete stranger, a goth kid, and of course a real fucking castle! I had to keep this pic in my queue for 13 hours to get this shot.

Hey All….three of you. We’re still around and photoswapping. Like mad. Friday night was an eventful swap night for Bob. He got banned something like three times this weekend, but with great results to show for it. He has a post coming up soon, I think, and I’ll be throwing some stuff up, too.

Sorry for the lack of updates. We’ll try to be more proactive.

I’ll post more if I get bored, or if people want more. Let me know via comments!

I wanted to find out more about Padadaz and the developers behind it. Not only to see what other projects they’ve done, like Bix, but to see if there was an IRC channel or forum we, the users, could talk to them through. So I went to the developer’s website, you get but very little. No names, no forums, no community, nothing! Then I tried was doing a lookup on the domain, but it came back with useless Go Daddy info, no names.

So I went to iTunes to learn more, and I found a name: David Jilli. After some Google searching I found some stuff out about David Jilli. First off, he lives in Switzerland. He studied computer science at the Swiss Federal Institute Technology. He was involved in hacking the Xbox to run Linux. I found a lot of other projects he was involved with the development of, mostly code updates. He may have a consulting firm now, but I couldn’t confirm that. I found him on Linked In and Facebook. I friended him on Facebook, I’ll let you know if he accepts.

Still after all that, I have basically nothing. I found quite a few e-mail address that were/are his, but if I’m going to e-mail him I’ll use support@padadaz.com. I know Troy has sent some e-mails with questions before, but I don’t think he’s gotten anything back yet. I’m coming up with a list of questions now, and I’ll post it soon! If there’s anything you’d like to know about PhotoSwap from the devs, post it here and I’ll add it to the e-mail I’m drafting!

Just wanted to throw up a reminder that Apple may be announcing some new hardware and software this Tuesday at MacWorld 2009 in San Francisco. From what I hear it will be a software-centric keynote presentation. The new version of OSX will probably make an appearance, and I’m sure the iPhone’s app store will get a mention as well. If there was ever a time that we can expect earth-shattering news about PhotoSwap it would be at this event.

Probably not though.

Also, I apologize for the lack of updates. I just got back from a long road trip and need to get settled in before I start pro-swapping. I did get some random guy to make a mangina for me last night, though. It was gross.

As the year draws to a close we are looking to do something special for the three of you who look at this site. That’s Boob Quest 2008. We’ve spammed the PhotoSwap servers with requests from everyone to throw up their boobs for all to see. Man-Boobs. Lady-Boobs. It’s all good. It’s a celebration and we want everyone included! We will post our results around midnight of December 31st, 2008/January 1st 2009.

I was sending out some photos of a sunset this evening, thinking it would be a nice contribution to the PS community. I got some random replies of a window, some feet, and then this. I really do appreciate the sentiment… but come on!
